Right of Withdrawal

Since the rental covers a specific date and time, it is exempt from the right of withdrawal.

Cancellation terms and conditions

We understand that plans can change. Here are our terms and conditions for cancellations and refunds:

Cancellation no later than 30 days before the start date/time of the tour:
- The full amount will be refunded, less a handling fee of DKK 75 per order (order number).
Cancellation between 30 and 14 days before the start date/time of the tour:
- 75% of the full amount will be refunded, with a minimum of DKK 75 per order (order number).
Cancellation between 30 and 14 days before the start date/time of the tour:
- 50% of the full amount will be refunded.
Cancellation less than 7 days before the start date/time of the tour:
- No refund.

How to cancel
Cancellations must be made in writing via email to kontakt@aafartenskanoudlejning.dk. E-mailen skal indeholde:

Name of the person who made the booking.
Order number.

Refund
Refunds are made automatically via Nets to the payment card used for the booking.

Change in order

You can change the route and the number/size of vests until the day before booking. Contact us by email if you want to make changes.

Delivery of rented equipment

Your canoes will be ready at the chosen pick-up point at the agreed time.

The canoes are grouped together with your name on the vests. The paddles are either in the canoe or underneath. Please note that 2 paddles are included per canoe. Equipment cannot be taken from other bookings.

Delivery of canoes

You return the canoes at the agreed drop-off point. Upon return, the canoe must be emptied of any rubbish. Paddles and vests are left in the canoe.

The canoe must be ready for collection by 18:00 at the latest.

When the canoes are delivered, take a picture of the canoe(s) and send a text message with the picture to 40553003. The photo should show the canoe(s) in its surroundings.

NOTE!
If the canoes are not returned at the agreed drop-off point, it costs DKK 500 per hour spent looking for the canoes, and always a minimum of one hour. It also costs DKK 500 if they are returned after 18.00.

Responsibility for rented equipment

You are responsible for the rented equipment from pick-up until you have returned the canoes and sent an SMS with a picture of the returned canoe to 40553003.

Damage to the rented equipment

Normal wear and tear and minor scratches are considered normal wear and tear. If the equipment shows clear signs of gross abuse, the user is responsible for any repairs. If the equipment cannot be repaired, the user will be charged for replacement of the damaged equipment.

Duct tape must not be used on canoes or equipment. If this is ignored, a fee of DKK 500 per hour will be charged for tape removal, with a minimum one-hour charge.

Lost items must be replaced.

Sailing is at your own risk

Når I lejer kanoer hos Aafartens Kanoudlejning, færdes I i naturen, og al sejlads sker på eget ansvar. Det er jeres egen forsikring, der skal dække i tilfælde af personskade, ulykker eller mistede ejendele.

I naturen kan forholdene ændre sig hurtigt. Vi tager forbehold for vejr, vind, strømforhold, væltede træer og andre naturforhold, som vi ikke har kontrol over. Aafartens Kanoudlejning kan ikke holdes ansvarlig for disse forhold – og heller ikke for, om I som gæster kan gennemføre den planlagte rute. Det er jeres eget ansvar at vurdere, om jeres evner og erfaring matcher ruten og forholdene. Der gives ikke refusion, hvis I vælger at afbryde turen eller ikke kan gennemføre hele strækningen.

Skoler, institutioner og lignende grupper har selv ansvaret for at medbringe lærere og/eller instruktører og for at udarbejde relevante sikkerhedsinstruktioner for deltagerne.

Vi kan heller ikke drages til ansvar for handlinger eller fejl begået af andre parter, herunder deltagere, lærere, medtrafikanter eller lignende.

We reserve the right to make reservations:

- Price increases.
- Force majeure.
- Printing errors
- In case of errors. or missing equipment, you must notify us before you leave the drop-off point by calling 40553003 - so we have the opportunity to correct the error. The phone number is also on the canoe.

Modifications

It is not possible to change the date you have rented the canoe. You can always change the number of vests, start and pick-up point and start time until the day before.
If you have rented too many canoes, you can cancel and get a refund up to 7 days in advance. After this date you can cancel but the canoe rental will not be refunded. If you have booked for pick-up in Bellinge, which is NOT a drop-off point, it is important that you let us know if not all canoes are used, otherwise you will have to pay for pick-up of the excess in Bellinge.
